Foreign Minister: Russia to withstand all Western sanctions

MOSCOW, Mar 3 (PRIME) -- Russia will solve all the economic problems that the West creates, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview to the national and foreign mass media on Thursday.

“The countries that prohibited their companies from working in Russia did that under enormous pressure, they say now that they have to suffer in order to ‘teach’ Russia a lesson,” he said.

“Obviously, this will have an impact on the economy and the social sphere, but I assure you, we will solve all the problems that the West is creating for us,” he said.

These sanctions can be considered as a tax on independency that Russia has to pay, he said.
